Martin Cooke, is an award winning voice over artist. He has made hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Ice Pick lodge production company voicing and acting in their kickstarter campaigns. He has been in innumerable award winning movies, including 'ya budu riadom' directed by Pavel Ruminov and has also appeared on BBC television and on Russia's Channel one television channel. He also makes video games and audio books and appears in stage plays such as Harold Pinter's 'Dumb Waiter' as well as performing his own poetry. He is the company director of the famous flying banana children's theatre company.
Martin is a theatre director by education; he received a double first for his Masters presentation at the University of East Anglia's Harold Pinter studio in 1999. He also worked as dramaturg at Theatr Clwyd in Wales, under the artistic directorship of Helena Kaut Howson, when the theatre was ablaze with luminary and super eminent talents such as Anthony Hopkins, Julie Christie, Harold Pinter, Catherine Hunter and Marcello Magni, to name but a few. His favourite theatre director is Tadeusz Kantor. In Moscow, Martin has directed, numerous plays for children and adults inlcuding: La Ronde, by Arthur Schnitzler, A slight Ache by Harold PInter, and The lesson by Eugene Ionesco. For children he has directed: Gruffalo, Room on the broom, Zog (all by Julia Donaldson) and many others..He set up the first legitimate Pub Theatre in Moscow. He has two children and a cat called Henry
