The project “Around the World in a Hundred Fairytales” – cognitive reading for junior schoolchildren during which they will discover exciting plots from fairytales of different countries and experience the tradition of spoken fairy tales.
1st Meeting. Israel and Israeli literature
We’re reading: “A flood, a snake and two arks” by Meir Shalev
The host of the meeting: children’s and adult’s writer Linor Goralik
The program
First hour: short excursion round Israel and a theatrical reading of the book.
Second hour:
- performance of children’s drama studio “The Home Theatre” by Arseny Epelbaum, famous for his drama improvisations
- master-class “How to make a performance about a book you have read” – children will have a chance to express themselves and show the way they understand the story.
All time: “Knizhniki” book fair
Free for children aged 5-8
