Shalom, friends!
We are delighted to welcome you to the Nikitskaya Jewish Cultural Center.
The Nikitskaya JCC is the cultural heart of the Jewish community located in a unique historic district of Moscow. The warm atmosphere of this center located in a 19th century mansion and our individual approach to each client create an ideal place for the family to relax and for individual creative development.
At the Nikitskaya JCC we combine educational programs with quality recreation. There is a wide range of programs to choose from – terrific art studios, excellent concerts, great Sunday programs for the whole family, joyful festivals plus an opportunity to connect to the rich history and traditions of the Jewish people.
Ralph Goldman (1914-2014) was the Honorary Vice-President of the World Jewish welfare fund “Joint”. He was the one who enormously contributed to the development of Jewish philanthropy and Jewish renewal programs in Russia and other former Soviet countries. Ralph Goldman who was born in the Russian Empire in 1914 and whose family emigrated to the U.S. soon afterwards – cared deeply about the fate of Jews in that part of the world. Ralph Goldman was the heart and soul of “Joint”, the great dreamer and idealist. From 1940s to 1960s he was actively involved in the creation of the state of Israel. After his decease it was decided to name the Nikitskaya Jewish Cultural center after him.
We hope you enjoy spending your leisure time within the walls of the Nikitskaya JСС and are here to help with any questions or suggestions.
Sincerely yours, JCC team.
