“Purim in the old City”
The plan of our journey is as follows: after passing the strict doorkeepers (entrance in fancy dresses only) we arrive to the square of the Old City N. where there are a street of craftsmen, oriental bazaar, live music and a travelling circus. History of persons from Megillat Esther will bring you to the Palace of the King Ahasuerus. We will be feasting, choosing the bride for the king, revealing the cunning plans of Haman, dancing with Mordechai and, of course, struggling and overpowering the enemies.
On the program:
- interactive Purimspiel;
- pageant;
- dance flashmob and live music;
- workshop manufacturing noisemakers, beads and masks;
- culinary training;
- magicians, clowns, illusionists;
- transformation store and pottery atelier;
- traditional treats and gifts;
- sweet fireworks.
