It was named the V. I. Lenin State Library of the USSR from 1925 until it was renamed in 1992 as the Russian State Library.
In the course of our excursion we are going to meet with the Jewish books stored in the major Russian library. For many years there was no access to these depositories, and only now we have a unique opportunity to see what is hidden behind the walls of the widely known building on the corner of Mokhovaya and Vozdvizhenka streets
