"Shadow of a good conversation"
Location: JCC on Nikitskaya street Price: 400 rubles (adults), 200 rubles (children).
MC: Yulia Patrakova
Our classes are devoted to the Jewish literature and writers, who lived in Russia in the XX century. We are going to create "The great family book." We would like to invite you to a place where parents and children discover the works of the famous and almost unknown in Russia writers and poets, travel to different countries and epochs, learn to analyze texts and create book illustrations.
We will try to reanimate the forgotten concept of the "Jewish bookcase" for modern secular families. We will go through the history of Russia within the XX century, trace the changes in juvenile literature to discover whose names will remain in history.
During the classes children will familiarize with the writer’s literary heritage and his biography. Then they will create a handcrafted item or an illustration for some book. All these works will be included into the "Great family book". After the ending of the project all participants will take a copy of this book home. All classes are held in the form of a game. At the same time adults learn about the life and work of the writer, uniqueness of his language, explore the nature of literary creativity, discover the unknown facts about his life and destiny.
Classes are given by professional teachers with special education and years of experience with both children and adults.
