What do we teach in the Infant Academy of Art? Primarily we teach you to think. To think as an artist – brightly, inventively and in colors. And also to incarnate non-typically your ideas and concepts in painting and mosaic, batic and installations, application and collage, glass painting and paper plastic arts.
At classes in our Infant Academy of Art your child will construct a beaded wire lampshade, or a toy veneer house, and will paint it with acryl. He or she will also make Purim masks, napkins for chala and a self-made postcard.
Classes are held by professional painter Yaroslava Knyajeva. There’s no place for clichés, stilted patterns, coloring books for children in her workshop. Creative research, inspiration, resourcefulness, independence in artistic experiment, openness to innovations, love for tradition and respect to the individuality of each child predominate here.
